Chamois Cream

If you measure quality of life by hours spent in the saddle, you already know that your biggest enemy is friction. The constant interaction of saddle, skin and clothing can lead to chafing, discomfort and degraded performance. The specially formulated emollients in Soigneur chamois cream provide the lubricity needed to keep all those parts moving in synergistic harmony — so you can move for hours on end without painful irritation.

Embrocation

Embrocation (the strange word that describes both the product and the act of applying it) has been a ritual of serious cyclists since the days when the peloton was awash with wool shorts and bikes sported aluminum water bottles fitted with cork stoppers.

Formulated to warm the skin and stimulate the tissues and muscles, embrocation is like a massage in a jar. A staple of cyclocross racers from Belgium to Brooklyn, embrocation not only prepares muscles for the efforts to come, but it takes the sting out of cold weather. Not to mention that nothing accents a well-sculpted, finely defined calf, quad or thigh like a properly applied, well-formulated, quality embrocation.

FAQ:
How much should I use?
A little goes a long way. We recommend applying a small amount lightly for your first application, and start only on your quads or calf muscles. Everyone’s skin type and sweat rates are different so please experiment with the amounts to make it right for you.

Can I use it on my face?
No. It won’t give you the result you want and we want you to keep it away from your eyes. Extremities only.

Is it just for my legs
No, you can use it on your lower back or shoulders as well.

How hot is it?
It may get hot, but it won’t be painful. That is, if it stays on your leg muscles. On sensitive areas it’s going to be uncomfortable and painful. (Please don’t try, really. It’s not chamois cream). Avoid your eyes at all costs, and wash your hands well after applying. Another good tip: put your shorts on first.

How do I wash it off?
It’s designed to be impervious to water, which is great for wet weather. To wash off, be sure to soap up your legs with bar soap or shampoo before stepping into the shower.
